Prime Video has unveiled the trailer of its new series 'Chaar Yaar', which follows four friends who slip into crime in early‑2000s Mumbai.
Prime Video rolled out the official trailer of its upcoming series 'Chaar Yaar' on Monday. The promotional video sets the tone for a gritty drama centered on four close friends who, amid the bustling streets of early‑2000s Mumbai, find themselves drawn into a world of crime.
The series, produced for the Indian market, aims to capture the socio‑economic pressures of the era, portraying how ambition, loyalty, and desperation intertwine. While the trailer offers glimpses of the city’s iconic locales and the protagonists' evolving dynamics, it stops short of revealing specific plot twists.
Industry observers note that 'Chaar Yaar' adds to Prime Video’s expanding slate of locally‑focused content, targeting viewers interested in period‑dramas that blend nostalgia with contemporary storytelling. The full series is slated for release later this year, with further details expected from the streaming platform soon.
