Indian bowler Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand, according to official statements. The decision comes as the team finalises its squad for the series.
Indian fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of the forthcoming ODI series against New Zealand, as confirmed by the board’s selection committee. The decision was announced ahead of the team’s final squad announcement for the series scheduled to begin in late October.
Krishna, who has been a regular in the limited‑overs setup, will miss the opportunity to contribute to India’s campaign in the series. The selectors have opted for a different bowling combination to strengthen the attack for the matches.
The news was released by the board’s spokesperson during a press briefing, where no specific reason for the omission was disclosed. The Indian team will now focus on preparing for the series with the selected players.
India’s management has expressed confidence in the remaining squad, noting that the team remains well-balanced for the upcoming fixtures against New Zealand.
