The Rajkummar Rao‑starrer Prahaar collected ₹8.50 crore over its opening weekend, a figure that critics say needs to improve to sustain the film's run.
Prahaar, the crime thriller featuring Rajkummar Rao, opened nationwide on Friday and finished its first weekend with a total of ₹8.50 crore.
The collection, reported by Pinkvilla, falls short of the high expectations set by the film’s promotional campaign.
Sources suggest that while the opening is decent, the film will need stronger word‑of‑mouth and repeat viewership to keep the numbers climbing in the coming weeks.
Distributors are monitoring the trend closely, as a steady rise in collections is crucial for the film’s long‑term performance.
The current earnings indicate that Prahaar’s success will largely depend on audience reception beyond the initial weekend.
