കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒൻപത് ദിവസങ്ങളിലായി വിവിധ പൂജകൾ, പ്രത്യേക വഴിപാടുകൾ, സാംസ്കാരിക പരിപാടികൾ എന്നിവയോടെയാണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ നവരാത്രി ആഘോഷങ്ങൾ നടന്നു വന്നത്. സമാപന ദിവസമായ വിജയദശമി ദിനത്തിൽ പ്രത്യേക പൂജകൾക്കും വിദ്യാരംഭ ചടങ്ങുകൾക്കും ശേഷമാണ് തേര് എഴുന്നള്ളിപ്പ് ആരംഭിച്ചത്.
വർണ്ണശബലമായി അലങ്കരിച്ച തേരുകൾക്ക് മുന്നിൽ വാദ്യമേളങ്ങളും തെയ്യവും കാവടിയാട്ടവും ഭക്തരുടെ നാമജപവും നിറഞ്ഞുനിന്നു. നഗരത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ പാതകളിലൂടെ കടന്നുപോയ എഴുന്നള്ളിപ്പ് കാണാനും ദേവിയെ ദർശിക്കാനും വഴിനീളെ വൻ ജനക്കൂട്ടം തടിച്ചുകൂടിയിരുന്നു. ആഘോഷങ്ങൾ ഭംഗിയായി സമാപിച്ചതിൽ ക്ഷേത്ര ഭാരവാഹികളും നാട്ടുകാരും സന്തോഷം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു.

Thamarakkuzhi: The Navaratri festival for this year at the Thamarakkuzhi Mariamman Temple concluded with devotion-filled ceremonies. A large number of devotees gathered in the town to witness the chariot procession held to mark the culmination of the celebrations.
For the past nine days, the temple's Navaratri celebrations were marked by various pujas, special offerings, and cultural programs. On Vijayadashami, the concluding day, the chariot procession commenced following special pujas and Vidyarambham ceremonies.
The brightly decorated chariots were preceded by traditional percussion music (vadhyamelam), Theyyam, Kavadiyattam, and the rhythmic chanting of devotees. A massive crowd gathered all along the route to witness the procession as it passed through various streets of the town and to catch a glimpse of the goddess. The temple office-bearers and locals expressed their happiness over the successful conclusion of the celebrations.
