Malappuram: A protest water body was organized under the auspices of the BJP Malappuram District Central Committee.
The public meeting was organized against the misinformation being spread on the SIR issue.
The public meeting held in Malappuram was inaugurated by BJP State Vice President V. Unnikrishnan.
He demanded that the 137 MLAs, ministers and the Chief Minister of the state, who are constantly making allegations against the SIR, resign and seek a new mandate.
The SIR has been prepared by BLOs belonging to various political parties in the state.
How can the Election Commissioner sitting in Delhi be able to interfere in this, he also asked while inaugurating the protest public meeting.

എസ് ഐ ആറിനെതിരെ നിരന്തരം ആരോപണങ്ങൾ ഉന്നയിക്കുന്ന സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഭരണ- പ്രതിപക്ഷ കക്ഷികളിലെ 137 എംഎൽഎമാരും , മന്ത്രിമാരും ,മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയും രാജിവെച്ച് പുതിയ ജനവിധി തേടണമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാർട്ടികളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട ബി എൽ ഓ മാരാണ് എസ് ഐ ആർ തയ്യാറാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ളത്.
