Devadurga, Sept. 27: Popular Physical Education Teacher of Devadurga, Mr. Ranganath C., has been honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding and dedicated service to the field of sports.
Having devoted himself to sports and physical education, Ranganath C. has worked tirelessly to identify and nurture the sporting talents of hundreds of students from rural areas and help them participate in state- and national-level sporting events.
Known for his simple and humble personality, Mr. Ranganath C. is currently serving as a Physical Education Teacher at K.P.S. (Karnataka Public School) High School, Devadurga. He is also successfully serving as the President of the Devadurga Taluk Grade-1 Physical Education Teachers Association (Regd.).
For several decades, he has rendered dedicated and sincere service to the sports sector. He has identified talented students from rural areas, provided them with advanced training and encouraged them to pursue their sporting abilities. Hundreds of students trained under his guidance have participated in various state- and national-level sporting events and brought recognition and pride to Devadurga Taluk and Raichur district.
In recognition of his continuous contribution and achievements in the field of sports, Maladakal Geleyara Balaga (Regd.) and Jnanavruksha Education and Social Service Trust, Devadurga, have jointly organised an appreciation and award presentation ceremony.
The programme will be held on Sunday, September 27, at 10:00 a.m. at Shri Benid Murigeppa Function Hall, Devadurga. Popular public representatives, education department officials, office-bearers of various organisations, teaching staff and sports enthusiasts from the taluk are expected to participate in the programme and honour the accomplished teacher, Mr. Ranganath C., with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Teachers' associations, sportspersons and villagers across the taluk have expressed happiness over Mr. Ranganath C. receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award and have extended their heartfelt congratulations to him.
