Police seize ₹3 crore worth of cannabis plants in Khargaon during Operation Prahar

During Operation Prahar, Madhya Pradesh police uprooted over 15,000 cannabis plants worth about ₹3 crore from two farms in Khargaon and arrested four suspects.

According to the police report, the teams uprooted about 60 quintals of cannabis material directly from the roots, ensuring the plants could not be replanted. The seized crops were spread across two separate fields, both of which were identified as illegal cultivation sites.
Four individuals suspected of managing the farms were taken into custody during the raid. The arrested persons are being investigated for violations of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and related offenses.
