A video showing dangerous car stunts has gone viral, prompting police to open an investigation into the incident.
A short clip of a vehicle performing high‑speed stunts on public roads has been widely shared on social media platforms, drawing thousands of views and comments within hours of its upload. The footage, which shows the car drifting and overtaking at reckless speeds, quickly sparked concern among netizens about road safety.
Law enforcement agencies in the region have confirmed that a formal inquiry has been launched. Police officials said they are tracing the source of the video, identifying the driver and any accomplices, and will file a case under relevant traffic and criminal statutes.
Authorities warned that such reckless behaviour endangers not only the participants but also innocent commuters. They urged the public to refrain from imitating the stunts and to report any similar incidents to the nearest police station.
The investigation is ongoing, and officials indicated that further action, including possible arrests and penalties, will be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.
