Bidar Police Women’s Task Force Raises Road Safety Awareness in Bhalki

Bidar: The special women's police team known as 'Akka Pade' from the Bidar district police department conducted an awareness program on traffic rules in Bhalki taluk. The initiative targeted college students, women, and children to promote safety and prevention measures. Under the guidance of IPS officer Pradeep Gunti, the team emphasized the importance of wearing helmets on two-wheelers, seatbelt use in cars, and highlighted the illegality of allowing children under 18 to operate vehicles.

The program also focused on women's and children's safety, addressing issues such as child marriage prohibition, POCSO, and cybercrime helplines including 1098, 112, and 1930. The team encouraged the community to inform family and neighbors about these safety rules and reassured women and students of the police department’s continuous support and protection. The efforts of the Akka Pade team, led by Pradeep Gunti, have been praised for their dedication to public safety.
