Police have positioned several teams around Delhi's Jantar Mantar, which is currently empty, according to reports.
Delhi police have mobilised several units to the historic Jantar Mantar complex, where the site is reported to be completely vacant. The deployment comes as part of routine security measures, with officers maintaining a visible presence around the monument.
Authorities have not disclosed any specific threat or incident prompting the action, but the empty premises suggest that any planned gathering has not materialised. Police spokespersons indicated that teams will continue to monitor the area throughout the day.
The move reflects heightened vigilance at public spaces in the capital, especially ahead of potential demonstrations. No arrests or confrontations have been reported so far.
Officials are urging the public to avoid unnecessary gatherings at the site while security arrangements remain in place.
Further updates will be provided if the situation changes or additional information becomes available.
