Poisonous Liquor Tragedy in Sagar: 11 Dead, 20 Charged

At least 11 people died after consuming suspected poisonous liquor in Bunda tehsil of Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, and 20 individuals have been formally charged.
A wave of panic swept through Bunda tehsil in Sagar district after a batch of illicit liquor was linked to the deaths of at least eleven consumers. Local authorities confirmed that the victims had ingested a suspect alcoholic preparation that showed signs of contamination.
The police have registered a case against twenty persons alleged to be involved in the manufacture, distribution or sale of the toxic brew. All accused have been taken into custody for further interrogation, and the investigation team is collecting forensic samples from the seized bottles.
