Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said Prime Minister Narendra Modi instructed state ministers and legislators to intensify their outreach to the public.

New Delhi – In a statement to the press, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar conveyed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked all state ministers and members of the legislative assembly to strengthen their engagement with citizens. The directive, delivered during a recent meeting in New Delhi, emphasized the need for more frequent public interactions and transparent communication of government initiatives.

Khattar said the Prime Minister highlighted that effective outreach is essential for building trust and ensuring that development schemes reach the intended beneficiaries. He added that the leadership expects each minister and MLA to organize regular meetings, town‑hall sessions, and digital outreach programs across their constituencies.

The call for enhanced public contact comes amid ongoing efforts to accelerate welfare projects in Haryana, including health, education, and agricultural reforms. Officials indicated that the guidance will be incorporated into the state's performance metrics for elected representatives.

No specific timeline was provided, but the CM assured that the state machinery will support the officials in planning and executing the outreach activities promptly.
