Peacock greenlights new 'Fast & Furious' TV series

Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming platform, announced that it has greenlit a television series built around the Fast & Furious brand. The decision follows the global success of the film franchise, which has amassed a large fan base and generated billions at the box office. While production details such as cast, crew and release schedule have not been disclosed, the series is expected to expand the high‑octane world of street racing and heist action that the movies are known for. Industry analysts view the move as part of Peacock's strategy to bolster original content and attract younger viewers who follow the franchise. The series will be added to Peacock's catalog once completed, joining other original titles on the platform.
