PDP president called on all political parties in Jammu and Kashmir to follow Ladakh’s example of unity and engage collectively with the central government.
Jammu and Kashmir People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti appealed to every political formation in the union territory to emulate the spirit of unity displayed by Ladakh after its reorganisation. She said that the cooperative approach adopted by Ladakh's parties has helped maintain stability and foster constructive relations with New Delhi. Mufti urged J&K parties to set aside partisan differences and engage in a collective dialogue with the centre, emphasizing that such cooperation is essential for addressing regional challenges and advancing development. The call comes amid ongoing debates over governance and representation in the region, and PDP hopes the message will encourage a broader consensus among local leaders.
