Four gunmen on two motorcycles opened fire on PAX president Sanjit Kumar in Vyapur village, killing him and wounding his husband.
On Monday, a violent attack unfolded in Vyapur village, located in the Maner police‑station area of Patna district, Bihar. Four suspected criminals riding two motorcycles approached the residence of Sanjit Kumar, the president of the PAX organization, and opened fire.
The assailants discharged roughly half a dozen rounds, striking Kumar fatally. His spouse, who was present at the scene, sustained injuries from the gunfire and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Local police arrived promptly, secured the area and began a preliminary investigation. The identities of the four gunmen remain unknown, and no arrests have been reported as of now. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and have appealed to witnesses for information to aid the probe.
