Patient's Relative Attacks PG Doctor with Belt in Darbhanga, Emergency Services Halted

In Darbhanga, a relative of a patient assaulted PG doctor Dr. Ashutosh Kumar with a belt, injuring his head. Doctors halted emergency services for about half an hour in protest.
The incident occurred at Darbhanga District Medical College Hospital when a patient’s relative struck PG doctor Dr. Ashutosh Kumar with a belt, causing a head injury. The doctor was taken to the emergency ward for treatment. In response, the attending doctors staged a protest, suspending the emergency department for roughly thirty minutes. Hospital officials later restored services after the protest ended.
