The Passport Seva Kendra serving Panaji has been shifted to a new facility in Pilerne, effective from 2 November.
The Ministry of External Affairs has relocated the Passport Seva Kendra that previously operated in Panaji to a newly constructed premises in Pilerne, a suburb of the capital, with the move taking effect on 2 November.
The new centre is equipped with upgraded counters and waiting areas, aiming to reduce processing time and improve comfort for applicants while retaining the same operating hours as the former location.
Applicants seeking passport services are advised to visit the Pilerne address from the stated date; the old Panaji office will cease public transactions but will continue to handle internal administrative work for a short transition period.
Officials indicated that the shift is part of a broader effort to modernise passport services across Goa, ensuring better accessibility for residents of the state’s northern districts.
