Pakistan has announced that the prohibition on Indian civil aircraft entering its airspace will remain in force until 24 November.
Pakistan's civil aviation authority confirmed that the restriction on Indian civil aircraft has been extended, now set to remain in effect until 24 November.
The ban, first imposed earlier this year amid rising tensions, bars all Indian commercial flights from using Pakistani flight routes, forcing airlines to adopt longer alternative paths.
Officials indicated that the measure will be reviewed after the specified date and did not disclose additional criteria for lifting the restriction.
The extension is expected to affect several scheduled services between the two nations, adding operational challenges for airlines and passengers.
