The Resource Outsourcing Management System (ROMS) meant to bring transparency to outsourced health workers' salaries has not been fully implemented, with the deadline now pushed to October 31.
The Health Department’s plan to introduce the Resource Outsourcing Management System (ROMS) – a digital platform intended to make salary disbursement for outsourced staff transparent – remains incomplete. Outsourced workers, who have been waiting for months to receive their pay, continue to face uncertainty as the system’s rollout stalls.
Officials have now extended the implementation deadline to October 31, giving the agency additional time to address technical and administrative bottlenecks. The extension aims to ensure that the payroll data, verification procedures, and payment schedules are fully integrated before the system goes live.
