A damaged segment of Delhi’s old R.T.R flyover has been closed for repairs, with traffic redirected for the next three to four days.
The municipal authorities have cordoned off a deteriorated portion of the historic R.T.R flyover in Delhi. The closure is expected to last three to four days while repair crews work on the damaged structure.
Motorists have been instructed to use alternate routes that have been pre‑designated by the traffic police. Signage and temporary barriers have been installed at both ends of the affected stretch to guide vehicles safely.
Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time and to stay updated through official traffic bulletins. The diversion is aimed at preventing accidents and ensuring smooth flow on surrounding arterial roads.
The repair work is part of a broader effort to maintain aging infrastructure in the capital, with similar projects scheduled for other flyovers later this year.
