Odisha is preparing to air‑drop food supplies to districts affected by floods from Cyclone Arnab.
The state government has mobilised helicopters and coordinated with the Indian Air Force to deliver essential rations to residents in the hardest‑hit areas.
Officials say the operation will begin shortly, with the aim of reaching isolated villages before the monsoon rains worsen the situation.
The air‑drop is part of a broader relief effort that includes road‑based distribution and medical aid.
Residents in the flood‑affected districts are urged to stay alert and follow instructions from local authorities.
