Odisha, Chhattisgarh CMs to Meet in Delhi Over Mahanadi Water Dispute

The Chief Ministers of Odisha and Chhattisgarh have agreed to convene a meeting in New Delhi to address the long-standing Mahanadi water dispute.

The dispute centres on the sharing of water from the Mahanadi river, which flows through both states and has been a source of tension for several years.

Officials said the dialogue in Delhi aims to explore a mutually acceptable framework for water sharing and to prevent further escalation of the issue.
