An Indian national who left a stable job and family in India to settle in Canada now says he is reconsidering his move after a drunken patron threw a drink at him.
An Indian expatriate, who had recently relocated to Canada after leaving a secure position and his family in India, has revealed that he is now questioning the decision.
The change of heart came after an incident in a local bar where a drunken customer threw a beverage at him, an event that the NRI described as unsettling and unprofessional.
In a statement to the media, he said the incident prompted him to reflect on his life choices and the safety and support he might have left behind in India.
While he has not yet announced a definitive plan, the story has sparked discussion among Indian professionals abroad about the challenges of relocating and the importance of community support.
