North Western Railway announced the cancellation of 13 trains, with the majority of them originating from or passing through Haryana, affecting commuters across the state.
The North Western Railway (NWR) has issued a notice cancelling a total of 13 scheduled train services. According to the railway’s statement, most of the cancelled services were either originating from or traversing the state of Haryana, disrupting regular travel plans for passengers.
The cancellations were announced as part of operational adjustments, though the railway did not provide detailed reasons for the specific trains affected. Commuters have been advised to check alternative routes or contact the railway enquiry desk for updated schedules.
Travelers relying on the affected services are urged to monitor official NWR channels, including the website and mobile app, for real‑time information on rescheduling or replacement arrangements. The railway authority has assured that it is working to minimize inconvenience and restore normal operations as soon as possible.
The move comes amid broader efforts by Indian Railways to streamline services and address logistical challenges across its network. Stakeholders, including local transport unions, have been asked to cooperate in managing the temporary disruption.
Authorities recommend that passengers book tickets in advance for alternative trains and keep an eye on any further announcements regarding additional cancellations or service changes.
