In the first 27 days of operation, the station generated a modest revenue of ₹20,950, according to data released by Indian Railways. The figure translates to an average of just six passengers boarding each train that halts at the station, indicating a stark under‑utilisation of the new infrastructure.
Railway officials attribute the low footfall to limited awareness among local residents and the absence of connecting bus services. They have indicated that a targeted outreach campaign and improved last‑mile connectivity will be explored to boost patronage and justify the capital outlay.
