Ninth batch of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra to enter India today, says Uttarakhand government

The Uttarakhand government announced that the ninth group of pilgrims on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra will cross into India today.
The Uttarakhand state administration confirmed that the ninth batch of pilgrims embarking on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is scheduled to enter Indian territory today, continuing the annual high‑altitude pilgrimage to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar in Tibet.
The group, consisting of several hundred devotees, will be escorted by Uttarakhand tourism officials and border security personnel as they move from the Lipulekh Pass toward the base camp at Darchen after completing customs formalities.
Authorities have arranged medical, logistical and accommodation support in line with protocols used for earlier batches, aiming to ensure safe passage through the rugged terrain and adherence to the bilateral agreements governing pilgrim movement.
