India’s NIELIT Digital University has linked its online platform with Saylor University of the United States, marking a new cross‑border academic collaboration.
The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has announced that its Digital University (NDU) platform is now integrated with Saylor University, a U.S.-based nonprofit online institution. The integration enables seamless access to Saylor’s open‑courseware for learners registered on NDU, expanding the range of free and credit‑eligible content available to Indian students.
Both institutions highlighted the move as a step toward greater international cooperation in digital education. By linking their platforms, NIELIT aims to leverage Saylor’s established curriculum while offering its own learners a broader selection of courses without additional fees.
