National Health Mission staff in Amritsar staged a protest by surrounding city buses, leading to a heated confrontation with activists of the Aam Aadmi Party.
NHM (National Health Mission) workers in Amritsar gathered around several city buses today to voice their grievances. The protestors formed a human chain around the vehicles, effectively halting normal bus operations for a short period.
The demonstration turned confrontational when Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) activists arrived at the scene. A heated exchange of words ensued between the two groups, with both sides raising their voices over the issues at stake.
Local authorities monitored the situation closely, urging both parties to remain calm and avoid any escalation. No reports of injuries or arrests were released as the protest gradually dispersed.
