New Vice-Chancellors Appointed at Three Rajasthan Universities

Rajasthan University, Shekhawati University and MGSU Bikaner have each named a new vice‑chancellor, with Bhagwati Prasad Saraswat, Yudhveer Singh and Narsi Ram Vishnoi taking charge respectively.
The state government has announced fresh leadership for three major higher‑education institutions in Rajasthan. Bhagwati Prasad Saraswat has been appointed vice‑chancellor of Rajasthan University, while Yudhveer Singh will head Shekhawati University and Narsi Ram Vishnoi has taken charge of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MGSU) in Bikaner.
Each appointee brings extensive academic and administrative experience. Saraswat, a veteran scholar, is expected to steer Rajasthan University through a phase of curriculum modernization and research expansion. Singh, known for his work in regional development studies, will oversee Shekhawati University’s efforts to broaden outreach in the Shekhawati region. Vishnoi, an agronomy specialist, is tasked with strengthening MGSU’s focus on agricultural innovation and farmer‑friendly research.
