New Roads, Health Centres and Project Funds Allocated to Arunachal's Hill Districts

The Arunachal Pradesh government has approved the construction of roads, establishment of health facilities and disbursement of rural project funds for its hill districts.
The state government of Arunachal Pradesh announced a package of development initiatives targeting its remote hill districts. Under the plan, new road networks will be built to improve connectivity between villages and market centres, addressing long‑standing transport challenges in the region.
In parallel, the administration will set up additional health facilities to expand primary care coverage for residents of these sparsely populated areas. The facilities are expected to provide basic medical services, maternal health care and emergency response capabilities.
Funding for a range of rural development projects has also been earmarked, aimed at boosting livelihoods, enhancing irrigation and supporting local enterprises. The combined effort seeks to bridge infrastructure gaps and promote inclusive growth across Arunachal's mountainous terrain.
