New Mizoram-Manipur Bus Service to Launch Oct 1, Linking Sairang with Churachandpur

A new bus service linking Sairang in Mizoram to Churachandpur in Manipur will begin operations on 1 October. The route covers a distance of approximately 140 kilometres, providing a faster and more convenient link between the two states. The service is expected to run daily with multiple departures from Sairang, catering to commuters, traders and tourists. State transport authorities have announced that the buses will be operated by a joint venture between Mizoram and Manipur transport departments, ensuring regular maintenance and safety standards.
