The National Democratic Alliance secured a decisive victory in the recent Legislative Council elections, sweeping the seats in a state governed by the Congress party.
The results of the Legislative Council elections were announced by the Election Commission, with the NDA winning a majority of the contested seats in a state where the Congress party holds power.
The BJP‑led alliance captured most of the seats, while Congress managed only a few.
Officials noted that the voter turnout was high, reflecting robust participation in the electoral process.
Political analysts suggest that the outcome could influence the upcoming state assembly elections, as the NDA gains momentum in a traditionally Congress‑stronghold.
