NCC cadets organized a successful 3‑kilometre Pinkathon walk on roads and school premises, aiming to raise public awareness about health and cleanliness.

A 3‑kilometre Pinkathon walk was conducted to promote menstrual hygiene and encourage cleanliness among the general public. The event was led by National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets and took place on local roads and within school boundaries.

The walk, spanning three kilometres, was designed to engage community members directly, with cadets guiding participants along the route and distributing informational material on health and sanitation. Organisers coordinated the movement to ensure smooth flow and safety throughout the course.

The initiative highlighted the importance of menstrual hygiene as a public health issue, emphasizing that proper practices contribute to overall community well‑being. By integrating the walk with educational settings, the organizers aimed to reach students and their families, fostering long‑term behavioural change.

Feedback from participants indicated increased awareness and a positive response to the hands‑on approach. The NCC cadets plan to replicate similar awareness drives in other localities to further strengthen health education efforts.
