The latest trailer for the Tamil fantasy-comedy "Mookuthi Amman 2" hit digital platforms on Thursday, confirming that actress Nayanthara will reprise her role as the goddess Mahasakthi. The teaser, lasting just over two minutes, showcases the deity navigating a modern setting while wielding her signature powers, hinting at a blend of mythological humor and contemporary satire.
Production house Sun Pictures, which backed the original 2022 film, released the clip alongside a brief statement emphasizing the sequel’s larger visual scale and a fresh narrative arc. The sequel is slated for a theatrical release later this year, though an exact date has not yet been announced.
