The Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF) has decided to change the venue of the National Film Awards ceremony every year, a move aimed at promoting regional film cultures and increasing public engagement across the country.
According to the announcement reported by Outlook India, the rotating‑venue policy will commence with the upcoming edition, with the location to be selected by the DFF in consultation with state governments and industry bodies.
