A national symposium on pulse analysis will be held in Bhopal on October 6, bringing together experts from across India to evaluate the traditional practice’s clinical utility and modern research.
The Ministry of AYUSH has announced a national symposium on pulse analysis to take place on 6 October in Bhopal. The event will gather scholars, clinicians and researchers from across the country to scrutinise the age‑old practice of nadi‑pariksha.
Participants will examine the classical methodology used in Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis, assess its therapeutic relevance, and explore how contemporary scientific studies have addressed its validity. Sessions are slated to cover both historical texts and recent experimental findings.
Organisers hope the dialogue will clarify the role of pulse examination in modern healthcare, potentially guiding future integration of traditional diagnostics with evidence‑based medicine.
