The Nani‑starrer 'The Paradise' collected a total of ₹110 crore in nine days, with day‑nine earnings slipping even as the Gandhi Jayanti holiday boosted footfall.
The Nani‑headlined film "The Paradise" crossed the ₹110‑crore mark in its ninth day of release, according to box‑office data reported by Hindustan Times. The milestone was reached despite the Gandhi Jayanti holiday, which traditionally draws larger crowds to cinemas.
However, the latest figures show a further decline in daily earnings compared with the previous days, indicating that the holiday boost was insufficient to reverse the downward trend. Industry analysts note that the film’s opening momentum has softened, with audiences opting for other releases and streaming options.
The slowdown comes at a time when distributors are closely watching the performance of regional star‑driven projects. While the ₹110‑crore total remains a respectable figure for a Telugu‑language film, the dip in day‑nine collections may influence theatre owners' scheduling decisions for the coming weeks.
