The Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2026, commencing Wednesday in Bhopal, aims to channel more than Rs 1,100 crore into the state’s tourism sector, with representatives from 34 countries attending.
Bhopal will host the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2026 starting Wednesday, a trade exhibition designed to showcase the state’s tourism potential to domestic and international buyers. The event is organized by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department in collaboration with industry partners.
Organisers have earmarked more than Rs 1,100 crore of prospective investment that could be mobilised through the fair, signalling a major push to upgrade infrastructure, hospitality services and promotional activities across the state.
Delegates from 34 foreign tour operators are scheduled to attend, offering a platform for direct dialogue with local operators, hotels and travel service providers. Their presence is expected to generate new tour packages, increase foreign tourist arrivals and create employment opportunities.
State officials indicated that the Trade Mart aligns with Madhya Pradesh’s broader strategy to position the region as a year‑round destination, leveraging its cultural heritage, wildlife sanctuaries and emerging adventure tourism offerings.
