The Madhya Pradesh government has issued a weather alert for five districts—Gwalior, Shivpuri, Bhind, Morena and Shajapur—on Friday, as the state continues to experience rainfall after the monsoon season has officially ended. Meteorological authorities warn that showers could occur in these areas, urging residents to take precautions.
In addition, the forecast for the next three days, from 17 to 19 October, indicates that other districts in the state may also receive rain. The warning is part of a broader effort to keep the public informed about changing weather patterns.
The latest temperature reading from Amarkantak recorded a minimum of 15.8°C, highlighting the cooler night temperatures that are expected to accompany the rainfall.
Officials advise that people stay updated with local weather bulletins and avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rain.
