Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav ordered the suspension of district tribal welfare coordinator Pramod Mathur after a female employee’s salary remained unpaid for over ten months in Harda, Madhya Pradesh.
The Madhya Pradesh government intervened in a prolonged salary dispute in Harda district, where a female staff member of the Tribal Welfare Department had not received her remuneration for more than ten months. The delay, reported by local media, prompted senior officials to seek redress from the state leadership.
In response, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav issued a directive to suspend Pramod Mathur, the district coordinator of the Tribal Welfare Department, pending a detailed inquiry. The CM emphasized that prolonged non‑payment of salaries undermines employee morale and the credibility of public institutions.
The suspension order aims to ensure accountability within the department and to expedite the pending dues to the affected employee. Further actions will be taken based on the findings of the investigation, officials said.
