Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav announced a district‑level industrial conference to be held in the Chambal region before Diwali, highlighting plans for new industrial zones around the Expressway.
During a dialogue with entrepreneurs in Muraina, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav revealed that a Chambal‑regional industrial conference will be convened before the Diwali festivities. The meeting aims to bring together business leaders, policymakers and investors to discuss the development of new industrial corridors along the recently completed Expressway.
The conference, described as a "district‑level" event, will focus on identifying viable sites for factories, logistics hubs and ancillary units in the Chambal belt. Officials said the initiative is part of the state government's broader strategy to diversify industrial activity beyond traditional hubs and to attract private investment.
State authorities are already preparing the necessary infrastructure, including road upgrades, power supply and water facilities, to support the proposed industrial zones. The CM emphasized that the upcoming conference will lay the groundwork for detailed project proposals that could be launched in the next fiscal year.
Stakeholders are expected to present sector‑specific opportunities, ranging from agro‑processing to renewable energy manufacturing, aligning with Madhya Pradesh's goal of creating jobs and boosting regional growth ahead of the festive season.
