Abhijit Dipke’s mother publicly questioned the Delhi police’s statements regarding her son’s case, alleging misconduct by the force.
Abhijit Dipke, a Delhi resident, has been the subject of a police investigation that drew public attention last week. His mother stepped forward to confront the authorities, stating that the police narrative surrounding her son was inaccurate and misleading.
During a press interaction, she accused the Delhi police of fabricating details and engaging in intimidation tactics to pressure her family. She demanded a transparent inquiry and warned that any attempt to conceal the truth would erode public trust in law‑enforcement.
The police have not issued an official response to the allegations as of now, and the matter remains under scrutiny by senior officials. Observers note that the confrontation underscores growing concerns about procedural fairness in high‑profile cases.
The episode adds to ongoing debates about police accountability in the capital, with civil‑society groups calling for independent oversight mechanisms.
