Mobile Planetarium Launched for Government School Students in Rural Areas
Specially equipped traveling observatory vehicles with telescopes have been introduced to spark interest in astronomy and space among children in rural government schools.
A fleet of mobile planetarium vehicles equipped with telescopes has been launched to provide a dedicated astronomy facility for students of government schools. The initiative aims to foster curiosity about astronomy and space among children in rural areas.
By bringing a fully equipped observatory directly to schools, the program seeks to overcome geographical barriers that limit access to such resources. The traveling units will visit multiple government schools, offering hands-on experiences and visual demonstrations of celestial phenomena.
Officials expect the outreach to inspire a new generation of students to pursue studies in science and related fields.
