The Mizoram government recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CYMA, a Chinese organization, to strengthen tourism in the state.
The agreement aims to promote joint marketing initiatives, share best practices, and develop collaborative projects that showcase Mizoram’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
Both parties will work on capacity‑building programmes for local tourism operators, improve visitor infrastructure, and facilitate easier access for international tourists.
