A minor girl from Kabirdham's Kunda area has been rescued from Maharashtra. A 20-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly abducting and raping her.
The minor girl had gone missing from her school, prompting a search operation by the police. After a thorough investigation, the police tracked the girl to Maharashtra, where she was found safe. The accused, a 20-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested and charged with abduction and rape. He has been remanded to judicial custody until August 25.
