The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT‑CET) for 2027 will no longer feature a December exam; candidates will have a single attempt after their Class‑12 board examinations.
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT‑CET) for 2027 will be conducted only once, after the completion of the Class‑12 board examinations, eliminating the previously scheduled December test.
The decision aims to reduce the pressure on students and streamline the admission process for engineering and pharmacy courses in the state.
Candidates will now have a single opportunity to secure a score, which will be considered for all participating institutions. The new schedule is expected to align the CET with the academic calendar, allowing students to focus on their final year studies.
The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education released a statement confirming the change and advised aspirants to check the official website for detailed dates and application procedures.
