The metro authority has suspended operations at twelve stations, leaving daily commuters without service and prompting them to seek alternative transport.
The metro authority announced today that train services have been suspended at twelve of its stations across the network. The abrupt halt has left thousands of regular commuters without their usual mode of travel, forcing many to look for alternative options.
No detailed explanation has been provided by the authority regarding the cause of the suspension. Passengers have been advised to use buses, private vehicles or other public transport modes, which may lead to increased crowding on those services.
The suspension is expected to remain in effect until further notice, with the metro authority promising to issue updates as soon as more information becomes available.
