Meghalaya SIR Hearings 90% Complete, Officials to Visit Homes

The state’s investigative team has finished 90% of the hearings related to the Special Investigation Report (SIR) in Meghalaya. The hearings covered key witnesses and evidence in the case. Following the completion of most sessions, officials from the Bureau of Local Administration (BLOs) will conduct visits to the homes of those involved to verify statements and gather additional information. The next phase will involve compiling the final report and determining any further legal action.
