Meghalaya Grants Land for NorthEast United Football Academy

The Meghalaya government has taken a significant step towards promoting sports in the state by granting land for the establishment of a football academy by NorthEast United Football Club. The Cabinet approved a 45-year lease of 19.99 acres in Mawkhanu to the club for this purpose.
