CCTV footage from Rajasthan captured masked individuals trying to pull an ATM out of its location using a car, but the attempt failed.
A surveillance camera in Rajasthan recorded a group of masked men attempting to remove an automated teller machine by attaching it to a vehicle and trying to tow it away. The footage shows the suspects approaching the ATM, securing a rope or chain around it, and maneuvering a car to pull the machine from its base.
Security personnel at the site quickly intervened as the ATM began to shift, preventing the criminals from completing the theft. Police arrived shortly after the incident was reported and began collecting evidence from the scene, including the CCTV recordings and any forensic material left by the suspects.
No injuries were reported, and the ATM suffered only minor damage. Authorities have launched an investigation, urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity near banking infrastructure.
